Phish 3D, filmed at Festival 8 – the band’s three-day festival which took place on October 30th, 31st and November 1st at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California – will be in theatres in 3D this April. The band performed 8 sets over the course of the weekend, including a special Acoustic Set on Sunday afternoon. Keeping the tradition of past Halloween shows, they donned a musical costume on Halloween night, covering The Rolling Stones’ album Exile On Main Street.

the story is: “the bar is changing owners, and is closing for a few months because of it. the owners steve & dirk threw a party last night & tonight… they have built a friendship with Bobby over the past 20 years. he’s been in there watching sports every once in a while. after the closing of the Sweetwater, the 2am club is the last bar in mill valley… heard that the bar will be in good hands, though. …this is the only video i have… not the greatest at keeping still… did my best! Bobby looked a bit concerned at times playing with the band, but they really did a great job no matter how intimidated they may have been. They managed to get a few smiles out of him… pretty sure he was having a good time too.”

Announcing Gathering of the Vibes & New Lineup
Rhythm Devils will perform at Gathering of the Vibes 2010 with a lineup that includesMickey Hart andBill Kreutzmann (assorted percussion), one-man-band Keller Williams (guitar, vocals),Sikiru Adepoju (talking drum), Davy Knowles (guitar, vocals), and Andy Hess (bass). Together, they will take music beyond the horizon to a universe where rhythm is in constant flux and sound has infinite potential.
Mickey Hart and Billy Kreutzmann did a tour in 2006, that featured Steve Kimock on guitar and Mike Gordon on bass, and Jen Durkin from Deep Bannana Blackout on vocals. Most of these shows are available on the Archive and a brilliant DVD was also released. Here is a video from the DVD:
