People Have The Power
– Patti Smith along with everyone who had performed that evening ( including Koford on drums with Was and Flea on bass!)

*with Ramblin’ Jack Elliott

Earlier in the evening we saw mini sets from Flea, Patti Smith, Eric Burdon. This was a very special evening of music, and inspiring ideas on what we can do to help the environment and battle global climate change.  The big message was that there is not time to wait, the time is now.  To commit to renewable energy, and to end our need for and dependence on Fossil Fuels.

For more information on how to take action now please go to 350.org and PathwayTo Paris.com

DHL’s Video highlight [playlist  of the night :

Playlist:

Bob Weir and Friends – Bob Weir guitar, Don Was double bass, Alex Koford drums

Ramblin’ Jack Elliott joined Bob Weir and Friends on stage for “Friend Of The Devil”

Flea did some great looping jams, laying down a few bass tracks, and then joining in on horn, all just him!

The evening started with this young lady reciting her prose about the need to come together for environmental change.
