Grahame Lesh joined DeadCo Saturday for “St. Stephen”, before heading to his third night of “Heart of Town”
Sturgill Simpson, who opened the show, joined in for “Morning Dew”
Grahame Lesh joined Dead and Company, playing one of Phil Lesh’s famous instruments, the bass known as Big Brown, in a heartfelt rendition of his late father’s signature song, Box of Rain.
Not many dry eyes. We miss Phil so much, and this was such a sweet tribute.
Grahame Lesh has been leading the Heart of Town shows across town at Pier 48, with one more show tonight, Saturday August 2, starting at 10, after the Dead and Company show today. Heart of Town is also part of the Grateful Dead GD60 celebration taking place all over San Francisco, and the world.
