SAN FRANCISCO, CA- The Mickey Hart Band has announced new “Above the Clouds” tour dates for late May and July, in support of their brand new album, Mysterium Tremendum. The band has also released Volume Two in their video series about the record. The video features Dave Schools explaining what drew him into the project. “One thing that pulled me in to this project, was what became the song “Who Stole The Show?,” says Schools. “I’d come over to the studio two years ago and play some bass lines on some really long grooves with the Sounds of the Universe, and then I’d go off and go on tour with Widespread Panic. Then I’d come back six months later, and all the grooves and loops had been cut into tunes with Sikiru singing the Ifa. The tune blew my mind. It was nothing like I had ever heard before.
