For what it cost and what it was worth – it was an enjoyable experience.
Certainly far from mind being blown – but JK can give an interested listener a lift.
I wasn’t distracted by his occasional use of synth (piano patch on Watching the Wheels) but I will add that being a solo act and depending heavily on an iPad detracts from my opinion of any musician (and I’m guilty of it myself). It suggests lack of ownership of the music, but JK is in essence a cover artist (even though he did play a few of his own songs) so this is the default reality.

All that said – I liked his confidence, his taste in most of the songs covered and his spirit and I still say F the nay sayers.
JK is alright with me.

Here’s some vids:

Dire Wolf

Doin’ that Rag

Lucky Old Sun

Mission in the Rain

Watching the Wheels (John Lennon)

John called the next three songs his Prog Trifecta:
Entre Nous (Rush)

Wonderous Stories (Yes)

Skating Away (Jetrho Tull)

Take it Easy (Eagles)

Terrapin Station

Wasted On the Way (CSN)

Encore: My Sisters and Brothers
