This was the 10th show in a 12 show run by The Allman Brothers Band
at New Yorks’ Beacon Theater.
Furthur is currently on Spring tour. The band had the night off, after a 5 show run in the Philadelphia area. Furthur will be playing this weekend at the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The shows are completely sold out.
Furthur had played for 5 nights, earlier on their tour, at New York’s Best Buy Theater (formerly the Nokia), and on Sunday 3.13.2011, one of the ABB off night’s during their Beacon run, their guitarist Warren Haynes joined Furthur on stage, though since he had previously been part of The Dead and Phil Lesh and Friends, and is well steeped in the music of the Grateful Dead, Warren sat in with Furthur for the complete second set.
