As part of the 40th Annual Mill Valley Film Festival – “Fingerprints” is a film premiere featuring Music Heal International‘s work in Haiti —

Following the film is an all star benefit concert  celebrating the film, as well as honoring Bob Weir and Rob Wasserman and their years of contribution to the Mill Valley Film Festival.

The ALL STAR Benefit Concert will feature many of the musicians who have played with them in the past, as well as some special surprise guests!!

Rob Wasserman passed away in 2016, and is greatly missed by the local music community. His daughter Sarah is the driving force behind Music Heals International and the great work that they do bringing music education to the children of Haiti.  The concert is a benefit for MHI.

Film:
The world premiere screening of director Don Hardy’s short documentary Fingerprints. Filmed at the Conservatory of Music in San Francisco and J/P HRO in Haiti, and featuring kids from Music Heals International (MHI) and Bay Area Music Project (BAMP), Fingerprints tells the story of two music programs for kids in two different countries that come together through the universal language of music.
