The New Year in the Jewish calendar is 5777, beginning today, with the holiday of  Rosh Hashanah.

Coincidentally the date  of this wonderful show from Boston Garden 5.7.77!

This show is often overlooked by many in favor of Grateful Dead at Cornell the following night (5.8.1977), as their choice of the best show ever, but it’s every bit  as on the mark, in my opinion. Somewhere in the middle of it you’ll realize it’s one of the best nights of Grateful Dead ever anywhere…!  This was one of the first tapes I ever got that was sourced from a Betty Board, and I remember every time I played it for someone, especially Set II, their reaction would be “Wow! What show is this?!? This is GREAT! Can I get a copy? I need a copy!”

Enjoy it as you celebrate Rosh Hashanah, or simply relax into October…

And to everyone who celebrates, may it be joyous!

May everyone everywhere enjoy increased  peace and love this year!
