Jay Blakesberg JAM Book Release Party

Photographer Jay Blakesberg’s (www.blakesberg.com)new book JAM – full of Jay’s fantastic rock photography. Featuring many of our favorite artists, this is a big book full of history and memories.  I make an appearance too, see page 70, Steve Adams of ALO, with happycat! on the rail!

Last night at Terrapin was an awesome party to celebrate Jay’s book, with Jay signing copies all night.  Plus, an INCREDIBLE array of musicians, most of whom are in the book, there to play with Terrapin Tuesday night regulars, American Jubilee  (who if you have not figured out, are one of my FAVORITE bands right now!)

Hanging out and sitting in were: Dan Lebo Lebowitz (ALO), Steve Adams (ALO), Greg Loiacano (The Mother Hips), Mark Karan (RatDog, Mark Karan’s Buds, The Other Ones, Ghosts Of Electricity…. etc!), Reed Mathis (Tea Leaf Green, Mickey Hart Band, Rhythm Devils), James Nash (The Waybacks), Stu Allen (Mars Hotel, Terrapin All Stars), Jason Crosby (Godstreet Wine, Phil Leshand Friends, TRI All Stars, TXR All Stars, Etc. etc.) and probably someone I am forgetting. Oh yeah… JEFF CHIMENTI!  (RatDog, Furthur, Phil Lesh and Friends, Terrapin Ramble regular)

Bob Scalcione and I were both hard pressed to track all the various changes in musicians, but it was an awesome night.
