Our 3rd album, titled “Better Days”, offers genres ranging from Americana and Country flavors to Reggae, R&B and Classic Rock grooves- all with that flowin’ MoJo vibe.

At 8pm Jeff Cleveland (of Cowspace) and his original band, The Hope Knots, perform an acoustic set.

A dynamic, six-piece multi-genre Jam band from Los Angeles, Mother Jones is composed of a powerhouse of the West Coast’s finest musicians and vocalists, performing & recording outstanding original music.
Mother Jones was founded by Son Vo and original Mother Jones guitarist Tony DiPiano in 2001. Within a few months, Halina Janusz came along, providing her honey-laced vocals and musical sensibilities to the mix. Marshall Thompson, one of the most talented keyboardists in LA, got involved shortly thereafter. Steve Janowski assumes the duty of mega-hair rock bassist while maintaining a tasty low end. Chris Kirshbaum is our fearless drummer, born of instinct, flavor and an uncanny ability to create grooves that move the band wherever it needs to go. Billy Yates is an incredible guitarist who delivers the goods with conviction, skill, tone and passion. This is the real deal.
With their third album titled “Better Days” having just arrived to hit the jam band scene with a bang, Mother Jones has set the standard for today’s jam band – strong originals backed up by strong vocalists and musicians who can deliver the goods.
