Little else is known at this time – but you can bet Deadheadland will be there!

There is a very cool preview video and new logo on display a www.phillesh.net  – and once again, it looks like we are in store for something very special.   I imagine we might see something along the lines of the  “Work In Progress” set’c Bobby and Phil did in08.  Whatever it is, I know that the wheel is turning a little bit Futhur than we’ve gone before….

In case you don’t know who everyone else is (I assume my readers know who Bobby and Phil are!), John  Kadlecik is the amazing guitar player from Dark Star Orchestra,  Jay Lane is the powerhouse original drummer from Primus andof course Bobby’s drummer in Ratdog.  Jeff Chimenti is the keyboard maestro from The Dead, Ratdog, and he is also now considered a Rhythm Devil.  And Joe Russo is the percusionist in the Benevento/Russo Duo.

  1. Awesome! Thanks for the news, Brian!

  2. I bet you Mick and Bill weren't down with the Jerry impersonator and therefor aren't on tour. The guy can sure play, but man… its almost kinda spooky. I wonder what Jerry would have thought…. Steve Kimock where are you?!?!?

    • You think? I think Bob and Phil are just wanting to try new things…. like the way Jackie made them both rock harder, I think they are looking to get into some new groove with John K.

  4. Billy and Mickey do not want to commit to the time or effort Bob & Phil are looking for, that's why they decided on a new project. BTW these shows were incredible if you weren't there better get ready of a big tour or 3 in 2010. John did not impersonate Jerry at all(like he does in DSO), played as himself and he more then held up his end. This is a true band and it will take us Furthur into the new if we let it.Check out the new song.

    • well, now that the advertisement is out for the Geoge Mason show he is also definitely second-billed–it is big picture of Phil and Bobbie, Jerry is gone gone gone, and the impersonator is in teeny tiny type with the plebs. imo he made a big mistake if he doesn't have a long-term contract coz his status is just a hired hand to the "gods"
